Section 47(1) of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 2003 states that triennial elections shall be held before the expiry of a period of three years from the first election of the members of the Board. The last triennial elections were held on 17th April 2018 at 1pm at Loch Fyne Hotel Inveraray.
The Board hereby calls a meeting of qualified proprietors in the Argyll District Salmon Fishery Board area for the purpose of electing or re-electing members of the Board. This will be held directly after the fore mentioned meeting at 11:30 pm (approximately) on Tuesday 30th March 2021.
Votes will be cast on the day of the elections as per Schedule 2 of the Salmon 2003 Act. If you wish to appoint a mandatory to vote on your behalf, please ensure that a written mandate is sent to the address detailed on the Home page no later than 17:00 on Tuesday 16th April 2021.

April 21st AGM and Annual Public Meeting – Cancelled due to COVID-19 and restrictions, alternative meeting detailed below
It has been decided that in the current circumstances it is not prudent and maybe not possible to hold the meeting for the AGM as proposed on 21 April 2020.
During week commencing 20 April we will send out separate emails on each of the topics in the agenda. You will get the formal documents and any explanatory notes. We will then be happy to receive any comments or questions by email on each of the agenda items. We will try to answer any questions promptly.
Some items will require the approval of the AGM and we will make a proposal and ask if there are any dissenters. If necessary we will ask for an email vote.
As with the normal meeting, we now ask for the names of those who wish to “attend” such an email meeting by contacting Alyssa on her email as@argyllfisheriestrust.co.uk
